[What can be seen is a certain redhead tilting his head, staring into the camera. He turns the journal in his hands, and at random intervals he's upside down- or just on his side. Eventually, Battler figures out which way it's supposed to go, and that it's been recording for a while.]

Ahh.... what's all this anyways? Put in a random place, wings on my back- given a journal to... to what? Communicate with the locals? Don't give me that!

Oi oi oi! You witcheeeees! Is this some sick joke...?! I was in the middle of a game, you know! I was doing something-! No no... I had something to do, a promise to fulfill to someone!

[A frown, but it could look like a pout.] ...It's useless... it's all useless...what do you want me to do, introduce myself or something? Okay, fine- I'll play your sick game you damn witches.

I'm Battler Ushiromiya, and I'm not about to take any of this lying down....!!

I'm sure tons of weird things have happened to you, but until you become King Arthur, kidnap a guy, and go searching through the forest for weeks to find dragons that don't exist, this place sort of beats anything out in the weird department. [ Oh you will become so accompanied by the sarcastic tone she's using. ]

Oh yeah? Those are some nice stories and all- but until you've had to deal with a game where your family members are killed over and over again simply because they're treated as pieces on a gameboard, none of that even concerns me.

Ah right... captive, this sure feels like some sort of place to keep people corralled. Well Tenten-chan, sorry if I'm not very friendly right now, I just had to deal with a lot before coming here. I'll probably bounce back after I figure this all out.

It's all right. I just came back from fighting in a war, and when I first arrived here, it was in a wall filled with turkeys so I understand how frustrating it is when one arrives. [ well at least she's vaguely sympathetic. ]

I think you're misunderstanding. It's a little hard to explain, but... me and my family were on and island, and soon everyone was murdered. After that, I showed up in purgatory and a witch reset everything and said they were killed by magic. I said that was a lie- and it was done by human ways, and after that, I was in a game with witches.

Hah...? A war? But you look so young- I don't think I like a pretty face out there fighting.

Tenten is just going to gaze to Battler as he explains it all. Eventually her face looks like someone tossed pepper in here eyes. ] Man, and I thought where I from was weird. Why are you getting into an argument over that? If you win, does your family get revived? [ She's... super nosy. ]

[ She sighs. ]

I'm seventeen. I'm not young! Besides, just because I'm pretty doesn't preclude me from fighting. Whether you're a boy or girl means nothing on the battlefield. It's my dream to become a strong and powerful kunoichi, and I'm not going to let some guy's opinions confine me. [ feel the inner strength of Tenten!!!!!! ]

Because my supposed dead family started saying Beato was real and we should just believe in her...! I said that was a load of shit and suddenly that witch showed up and started telling me to believe as well. I'm stubborn as hell, so like that was going to happen.

And as for my family being revived... I thought that was the case as well, but after the fourth game, I've been having my doubts. They might actually just be dead, and I was given false hope from the start.

Basically. But all I had to do was prove that magic wasn't real on the gameboard itself, while we were stuck in purgatory there were lots of weird magical things going on.

It's just... a feeling I have, and some events that happened at the very end. Someone wants me to solve her final mystery, but I can't do that if I'm here- you know?

Jeez, even more magic...? I'll never hear the end of it.

Sort of? Except it's ninjutsu. And there's a logical explanation behind it all that isn't just "magic". There's some science involved. A person can perfectly just shoot fireballs out of their mouthes, and, in our world, that'd be considered something not very unusual. [ kanyeshrug. ]

Hm... Well, we're both pretty feisty. [ AND HERE'S THE SELLER. ] And you have red hair, so how about the Firecrackers?

I've heard of ninjutsu at least! It's all about using energy from your body, right? Aha, that was in books and stories in my world.

Yep. It's about molding chakra inside your cells to preform things that a normal human normally wouldn't be able to do without the aid of chakra. Though, it's really weird to hear that it's only been in books and stories when in my world it's a common occurrence.

Well, no. Most of those are specialities. Some ninja specialize in fire ninjutsu, others specialize in wind ninjutsu, I just special in summoning weapons from my scrolls. [ She takes one and holds it in her hand. It's not much larger than her hand. ] Want a demonstration?

Hm. We can probably solve the mystery of Luceti while we're at it!

[Battler's very interested in this!] Of course I wanna see, show me already~!

I'm smarter than I look you know, I've been having to solve several puzzles thanks to the witches for a long time. This'll be cake!

Summoning! [ Tenten releases the weapon from the scroll after waving a brief part of it around. Out of it, comes a giant long flail that looks longer than the scroll itself, it lands perfectly into Tenten's hands as she casually twirls it. ]

I don't underestimate anyone, especially someone that's skilled enough to successfully struggle with a Witch's magic and find ways to deny it. I bet it will!

[OHO! He moves back from the journal for a second, a little surprised at this.] That's so cool Tenten...! I've always been a fan of swords and stuff so this is amazing to me!

Ihihi... well I had my bumps in the road here and there- but as a human going up against witches, I think I did pretty well. Especially when I was also killed over and over again... they really liked to see me die and get revived.

Well then, you're going to love me. I mastered just about every weapon there is, and they're all in my scrolls which I can seal and summon anything for future use as long as I have the chakra to do it.

[ She nods. ] Well, I think you did pretty damn well too if you're in one piece.

They did what to you?! Are they really that heartless?! [ nearly dropping the journal feed because Jesus Christ that has to be illegal somewhere. What monsters!]

Aha.... it's a long story, I could tell you if you really wanna know the nasty details.
