[What can be seen is a certain redhead tilting his head, staring into the camera. He turns the journal in his hands, and at random intervals he's upside down- or just on his side. Eventually, Battler figures out which way it's supposed to go, and that it's been recording for a while.]

Ahh.... what's all this anyways? Put in a random place, wings on my back- given a journal to... to what? Communicate with the locals? Don't give me that!

Oi oi oi! You witcheeeees! Is this some sick joke...?! I was in the middle of a game, you know! I was doing something-! No no... I had something to do, a promise to fulfill to someone!

[A frown, but it could look like a pout.] ...It's useless... it's all useless...what do you want me to do, introduce myself or something? Okay, fine- I'll play your sick game you damn witches.

I'm Battler Ushiromiya, and I'm not about to take any of this lying down....!!

[ There's no mistaking that face, that voice, even way before he says his name or even talks. It's Battler, her older brother, who vanished from this place months ago, leaving her behind alone. But she's sure this is him, if not just for the typical yelling, and-- even if he doesn't seem to remember this place from the way he's talking, that doesn't matter, she doesn't pay too much attention to it. Not when she's practically already scrambling to reply to the post quickly. ]

Battler just stared at the person who was talking to him, and sure enough- it was his precious sister... ah, what was this? He could barely hear anything, his heart was beating so fast in his chest.

She had died... she had died, right? He could still feel that warm liquid down his neck, and hear her breathing heavily while she was being ripped apart. Battler was speechless for a moment, and then....]

[ She's heard the Malnosso get called a thousand things in her life time - evil, monsters, cyborgs, even one odd case of them being heavenly archangels. Witches though? She can't say she remotely supports that theory.

She'll just let him know with the oddest side eye that's half, "I don't know what you're talking about" and half, "You are so ridiculous, boy. For real." Her tone is utterly dry, and almost apathetic towards his theory. As if she's not even bothering to consider it. ]

Witches, huh? That's a new one.

[And have a dry look right back at her.]

....I'm beginning to think I'm not on Rokkenjima anymore.

[ 'I know', she almost says, but.. it's better to not throw too much information on Battler at first, her whole gig with Featherine can wait for now. ]

This place is called Luceti. [ maybe she should just make sure he knows, just in case anything would happen, and then she can hurry over to see him, like she wants.. ] It kidnaps people from different worlds and puts them together, so.. that's how we could meet too even after.. that. [ since she, as far as she knows, doesn't meet up with him again back home. ]

That's how we got those wings too. ... But you need to watch out with them, you'll die if they're ripped off, and..

I'm sure tons of weird things have happened to you, but until you become King Arthur, kidnap a guy, and go searching through the forest for weeks to find dragons that don't exist, this place sort of beats anything out in the weird department. [ Oh you will become so accompanied by the sarcastic tone she's using. ]

Oh yeah? Those are some nice stories and all- but until you've had to deal with a game where your family members are killed over and over again simply because they're treated as pieces on a gameboard, none of that even concerns me.

Ah right... captive, this sure feels like some sort of place to keep people corralled. Well Tenten-chan, sorry if I'm not very friendly right now, I just had to deal with a lot before coming here. I'll probably bounce back after I figure this all out.
