[What can be seen is a certain redhead tilting his head, staring into the camera. He turns the journal in his hands, and at random intervals he's upside down- or just on his side. Eventually, Battler figures out which way it's supposed to go, and that it's been recording for a while.]

Ahh.... what's all this anyways? Put in a random place, wings on my back- given a journal to... to what? Communicate with the locals? Don't give me that!

Oi oi oi! You witcheeeees! Is this some sick joke...?! I was in the middle of a game, you know! I was doing something-! No no... I had something to do, a promise to fulfill to someone!

[A frown, but it could look like a pout.] ...It's useless... it's all useless...what do you want me to do, introduce myself or something? Okay, fine- I'll play your sick game you damn witches.

I'm Battler Ushiromiya, and I'm not about to take any of this lying down....!!

[ The least she could offer him in return was to at least keep that reassuring happy smile on her face as he held her like that - as if she was suddenly twelve years younger again, almost an entirely different person, by her standards. ]

[ She puts her own hand on one of his for a moment, before prying it off a little so she can at least turn her head to look at Keiichi. ]

Um.. Onii-chan, this is Keiichi. Keiichi Maebara. [ considering he didn't seem to remember anything from last time around, and she didn't want to immediately burden him with that fact too. or the fact that this guy was her boyfriend, let's at least do introductions first.. ]

[Keiichi just waves a bit from where he is upon hearing her talk about him. Really guys, don't mind him, he's considering even returning home, he mostly came to help and it's not needed so...]

[Oh right- Battler lets go of Ange, quickly wiping his eyes and turning to look at the guy in question.]

Keiichi huh...? Nice to meet you, sorry I was a little aggressive to you over the journal before. Waking up in a strange place can do that to a guy.

[ nope, Keiichi, at least be properly introduced to your brother in law.. ]

Especially considering circumstances. [ From back home, she means - it's too much to start explaining it all here now. She still stands next to Battler, but she's looking at Keiichi too. ]

Well, I'd introduce you the other way around too, but you already said your name and Keiichi already knew it either way.

Yeah... I'm sorry too, I was more worried about getting you two together than anything else so I wasn't that great at it either.

[He didn't know that for him she would be... Dead, after all. Otherwise he would have been more subtle.]

[He looks between the two of them and blinks.]

Knew my name either way...? You must have talked about me then huh?

But don't worry, we're together now and at least now I know she's alive.

[ Best older brother and all, after all. ]

It's a little different from that though.. You see, they took you into this place before, but you don't seem to remember. It's happened to other people here before. That's when you and Keiichi met.

[Keiichi looks at Ange for a moment, arching an eyebrow, though he supposes he would learn it sooner or later.]

Yeah, anyway you don't have to worry about her here. I mean, there are no witches here, we had Bernkastel for a while but she left two months ago or so. Welcome to your new and possibly boring life with your sister in Luceti.

H...huh? I was here before?

[He paused, putting a hand to his chin.]

No I don't remember this at all....W...wait! Bernkastel was here...?! Tch, I knew the witches would show up sooner or later. But you said she's gone now?

She has been for a while, luckily. So there's nothing to worry about for now. [ totally never telling Battler about that time Bernkastel threw her off a building, or that time she nearly cooked her.. also not mentioning Erika was here since Battler wouldn't know either way. ]

As far as I know, we're the only two from our world here now.

And technically she showed up before any of you did. You're quite late for the party, Battler.

[And you sound a bit more vindictive that before, but that may just be his impression.]

Anyway, should we get him home?

[BLINKS...]

Home? I have a house to go to even....?

What do you think we live in here, onii-chan? Holes in the ground?

[ even if it's her usual sarcastic remarks, there's something warm about it, fond, not her colder kind of sarcasm. ]

But.. yeah, it's probably for the best. I don't want Battler onii-chan to have to wander around here alone, either way.

It wouldn't be safe to let him do that, anyway. He will have time to wander and explore when he settles down and fulfills the punishment game he has pending.

[Something about a maid uniform and going around the village, yes. Of course he may just be teasing.

Anyway he looks at Battler again.]

We live in House number 21. You can stay with us if you want, we will make room somehow. Or get your own place, which I don't advice. You may end too far unless you get a house as well.

House 20 is free, but getting hold of a whole house just for you is stupid. So unless Ange wants to move, which is also silly as we have enough space and if not we can get more...

[Sorry Battler, you are fixed to live with them unless the Malnosso decide to drop someone else you know here so you can move with them there. But what are the chances?]

[Keiichi waits until Battler moves as well and then joins the committee.]

Well... before you guys arrived some people over the journal were telling me all about this place... so I'm understanding so far.
